square teal
$225.00
This piece was developed in layers. First, I created the ceramic shape and cut rectangular openings in each of the four sides. After the first kiln firing, I experimented with white, brown, and teal glazes. After the second kiln firing, I spun art yarn in the palette of the glazes and wove the yarn into the openings of the ceramic base. The result could either be used as a vase to hold dried flowers, or as a sculpture as it is.
