This piece was one of the first experiments in combining fiber with ceramics. The round base is glazed in white and deep magenta, and it has been woven with copper wire and art yarn in a palette of white, pink, and purple. Additionally, three large ceramic tiles have been woven into the top of the piece for visual interest.
