The asymmetrical composition of this piece was inspired by a flaw in how I applied glaze to the ceramic base. I created three ceramic triangles and glazed them in a rich brown to match the unintentional brown spot in the base. Then I weaved the triangles with hand-spun yarn in deep blues and neutrals.
